Marina has a Bachelors in Health Science and Masters in Occupational Therapy degree and has practised in private and community settings for 3 years and more recently in Early childhood intervention Services (0-5 years) supporting families of the Inner northern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Marina has worked with a range of diagnosis such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay and learning difficulties, Sensory Processing Disorders, and Auditory Processing Disorders.
Marina enjoys working collaboratively with families and helping children develop everyday skills through play and meaningful activities. She also provides interventions focusing on a child’s motor planning skills, fine and gross motor skills, handwriting skills, sensory processing difficulties, self-care skills behaviour management and emotional regulation.
Marina learns more about children by visiting schools, kindergarten and childcare centres to complete observations and provide assessment and intervention when needed. She has worked collaboratively with educators, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists and other health professionals to further create and adapt interventions to best suit the child.
Marina is passionate about working with children, their families and teachers to promote participation and engagement in every day activities in the child’s natural environment.
