Ana is a General Paediatrician who cares for children with a range of medical, behavioural and developmental problems from birth to adolescence. Her paediatric training was based at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne (RCH) and has hold positions at Sunshine Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Monash Health and Ballarat Health.
Ana’s interests include acute and chronic health issues such as management of the ex-premature infant, asthma, eczema, constipation, toileting issues, sleeping difficulties, growth concerns and allergies. Ana also helps children and families with challenging behaviours, developmental delay, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and learning difficulties.
Ana practices family centred care and maintains excellent relationships with GP’s, allied health professionals, paediatric subspecialists and teacher/educators to provide the best care for each child. As a mother of 2 young girls, Ana believes that each child is unique and feels privileged to work with her patients and their families to ensure that they reach their full potential. She is fluent in Spanish.
