Dr Divya Mathews is a compassionate doctor with extensive training and experience across Australia, New Zealand and India.
Dr Mathews completed her training in the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore (Diploma in Child Health, MD Paediatrics) and further worked as a General Paediatrician in India for 5 years.
Her interest in Paediatric Endocrinology brought her to Starship Children’s Hospital in New Zealand, where she did a clinical fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology. She also completed a PhD assessing effects of iodine excess on thyroid gland and has authored several international publications.
Since her move to Australia in 2022, she worked in Darwin and regional Victoria, completing the additional training requirements for General and Psychosocial Paediatrics. She had further training and experience in Paediatric Endocrinology from The Canberra Hospital. She was admitted to Fellowship from Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP General Paediatrics) in 2025.
Dr Mathews focuses on a holistic approach and collaborates closely with families, allied health professionals, teachers and GPs to provide the best care. She actively liaises with Paediatric subspecialists, for areas which fall beyond her scope of practice.

- Thyroid disorders- Congenital hypothyroidism, Autoimmune thyroiditis, Graves disease
- Puberty- Delayed or precocious puberty, premature adrenarche
- Growth- Short and tall stature
- Diabetes- only follow up; cannot provide initial or emergency management in clinic
